Too tired to get out of bed? —– willing the world away? –left devoid of all desire? —– unable to see beyond this moment?
It May Be Time To Do A Self Examination. Ask yourself the following:
Depression Inventory
• Has my appetite changed? (Am I loosing or gaining 10% or more of my body weight?)
• Has my sleep pattern changed? (Am I staying in bed most of the day or wishing to. Am I not able to fall or stay a sleep. Am I rested?)
• Have I had thoughts of suicide? A desire to quit life. A plan to make it happen.
• Do I feel helpless, (I am not worth saving. No one can help or give me the answers.)
• Do I feel hopeless, (I’ve tried it all and nothing ever works out. Why Me? It’s too hard to keep going. I have no purpose to my life. No one will miss me if I’m not around. I GIVE UP!)
• How is my energy level? Has it changed significantly?
• How long have I been feeling this way?
• Am I having difficulty concentrating or difficulty making decisions?
• How is my self esteem? Am I valuable, intelligent, lovable, attractive?
