Caretaker’s Group
| Click here to hear Donna discuss her caretaker’s group. |

Who takes care of the caretakers?
Contrary to the opinion that it is the job of the caretaker to be responsible, compassionate, upbeat, empathetic, and available at all times and for all circumstances – it is precisely the caretaker that needs a safe haven to express the enormity of carrying the burden of another. It is the caretaker that too breaks down and burns out. It is the caretaker that needs support, resources and understanding.
Whether you are a paid professional, a spouse, child or relative of someone with physical or/and mental disabilities, a group has been created especially for you.
When was the last time anything was done especially for you? Where could you talk openly and honestly without feeling guilty or resentful?
A client recently said to me, “I just wish they would die already”.
It is time YOU get supported for the enormous job you do. We understand. New groups are forming on a monthly basis.
