Getting to know: DONNA BURSTYN-BRODER, MFT – Licensed Psychotherapist

Welcome to my world of psychotherapy where I accommodate you.

I make house calls. I do phone and email sessions for my patients that travel, live outside of Los Angeles or cannot physically get to my office; as well as traditional psychotherapy sessions held in my private office setting. I build my sessions in segments of 30 minutes to 2 hours as we see mutually necessary.

My main goal is to foster a safe and nurturing environment and to assist in healing and growing allowing people to explore their fullest range of joy and healthy behaviors.

Do you find yourself emotionally unavailable creating unhealthy patterns in relationships and self destructive behaviors that minimize your potential? Have these behaviors consumed you for most of your life? We often learn these patterns in early childhood, and despite their obvious negative results now, they once protected us from having to face even more painful feelings. Together we will learn why we learned these debilitating patterns, become more conscious of the experiences we hid ourselves from, and develop new and healthy ways to change the coarse of our life. With consciousness and possibility we can choose life enhancing relationships instead of depleting ones, and grow our self appreciation instead of having our unconscious lead the way.
